Welcome to OYAN's Teen Summer Reading wiki!

In the spirit of "many heads are better than one", the executive board of OYAN (Oregon Young Adult Network, a division of the Oregon Library Association) decided a wiki would be a great way to gather teen program ideas for libraries to use during our summer reading programs (SRP). 

The 2008 teen theme is Metamorphosis @ Your Library.  We'll be learning how to change our outsides, our insides, our communities, and our things, all in the name of metamorphosis!  The theme is set each year by the Collaborative Summer Library Program, a nation-wide coalition of library workers committed to providing creative ideas for summer reading programs.  Check out their information page for the 2008 teen program manual.  CSLP produces a variety of public service announcements, including great video PSAs that you can host on your library's website, or ask area cable providers to air on television.

Use this wiki to share your own ideas and plans for summer reading!  You can create a page for your library, post photos and files, and leave comments on other pages.  This wiki is all about collaboration and resource sharing!  The password to edit this wiki will be sent out to the OYAN listserv.  You may also contact the OYAN Web Editor (KOBRIST@ci.monmouth.or.us) to retrieve the password.
